Objective.

To update the brand identity of Appy, previously known as SuperSaver.

The company aims to modernise its brand and enhance the visual appeal of its app's user interface.

Approach.

In the research phase, I analysed market trends and competitors to to understand current trends and consumer preferences.

I held many collaborative workshops with key stakeholders to develop the brand. From there I  adopted an iterative design approach, the UI update focused on simplification and consistency.

My Role.

In my role, I updated the brand, while also enhancing the user interface for a more visually appealing experience.

This included updating the logo, colour palette, and typography to align with current trends.

Appy is aimed at revitalising local businesses and so the logo needed to be a memorable icon that conveys loyalty and convenience, ensuring simplicity and versatility for various platforms. The intention is that the logo captures the essence of the app and appeals to its intended users.

UI Update

After refreshing the Appy brand, it was time to give the app a makeover with a new theme, typography and colours. During this process, I revamped the user interface to create a clean and intuitive UI.

I was assigned the task of developing marketing and merchandise materials to promote Appy and gain customer traction in the small towns around Manchester.
