User Interface Design
Branding
I was to evolve Gourvid’s brand identity, creating a look and feel that would appeal to their target market.
The brief was to update the brand, website and print/marketing materials.
Speaking with the executives, it was clear they were unhappy with how their brand reflected the business.
I began by immersing myself in the wine industry, researching competitors and conducting collaborative workshops in which I presented concepts to the team.
From there we were able to decide on a theme for the brand and I knew what direction I needed to take.
As the design lead, I spearheaded the design process. I updated UI, whilst ensuring brand consistency and quality were maintained.
In addition, I worked closely with the developer in ensuring that our project met deadlines. I performed QA testing on the products and held weekly collaborative product-developer sprints to ensure we were working effectively and efficiently.
Workshops and collaborative team effort helped narrow down theme and direction.
